National Geographic Photo – Doing The Rounds

I’ve just been forwarded an email with the photo of the year from 2005. I don’t generally like chain mail but this photo is absolutely stunning. It’s lovely to see it and be in awe of it once again. Click on the photo to view a larger version.

This is a picture taken directly above these camels in the desert at sunset. It is considered one of the best pictures of the year. Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture. The black you see are just the shadows!
